1. Objectivity. Successful exporters have to set clear objectives and goals. They have a vision and they are able to communicate that vision to all. They must not be blind sighted by their dreams, they must take the information and data and make good decisions.

7. Communication Communicating with customers and prospects of a different culture takes skill. Success in a new market is all about finding the correct partners and communicating with them even if it is a difficult message that you have to convey.
8. Resilience. There will be setbacks on your journey to becoming a successful exporter. The ability to pull through difficult & challenging situations is crucial to being a successful exporter.
