A Houseful of Pianos

I am always out and about looking for new venues for meetings and incentives.

I had the luck to be invited to stay at the Villa Medici Giulini in Brianza, a stone’s throw away from Milan.  What a great weekend we had!  Villa Medici Giulini is a small congress centre with a difference.  The Villa is home to over 70 pianos however the owner owns around 150 pianos.  The Villa is set in the heart of the Brianza where small groups can come together in an informal but historical surroundings of one of the Medici Villas. 

This is a centre for those people who want to hold small meetings but who also have a real interest in music. The Villa comes alive when the pianos are played. The host allows her guests to play some very special and old instruments.  Meals can be served in a number of locations depending on the size of the group, there is the dining room or the library or for a more informal dinner, in the 17th Century kitchen. It has 20 bedrooms and in April it will open its theatre which will accommodate around 100 people.  The gardens are beautiful and you an go for a stroll between meetings. 

This is Villa probably more for thinking or brainstorming rather than hosting a very formal corporate meeting.  Here you can contemplate and free your mind of your life stresses and focus on new ideas.

High profile singers and musicians come to play and give master classes and we had the honour of eating with Luciana Serra but there are many others who come to the Villa.
